A message from our CEO - Matthew Christopher Lewis:
It is an exciting and challenging time in the healthcare industry today – new legislation, new technologies, and new approaches to medicine. It is arguably the starting point in time for which we can expect our healthcare system to grow and advance for the better! The healthcare industry has grown to be the largest industry which accounts for more than 14 million healthcare jobs throughout the country! And we can expect this number to grow at a faster rate than any other industry! The demand for healthcare practitioners are growing, some specialists more than others, as the baby boomer generation continues to age and the needs of the elderly and the disabled continuing to grow.
Techniques in early childhood and adolescent development continues to grow as more and more research is conducted to uncovering new developments and technologies for improving health. Facilities are finding it more challenging than ever to recruit and retain these healthcare professionals, as needs are growing and budgets are thinning. Micro-level facility circumstances have created differences in the current staffing and service levels compared to what they should be. And who suffers? The patient. The student. Your family member. Your loved one.....
